Vermont Green Up Day
"Green Up Day" occurs statewide on the first Saturday of May each year. For the past three years Subaru New England has been a proud sponsor of the event. All seven Subaru of New England Vermont area dealerships including Burlington Subaru have participated in helping to keep Vermont Green. Subaru New England provides each dealership with a large Casella waste dumpster on site for Green Up Day. To further support the event and help keep Vermont Green, Burlington Subaru has:
- Collected trash and waste around its surrounding neighborhood (Shelburne Rd. / Flynn Ave. vicinity)
- Given away free Green Up Day swag (t-shirt, reusable water bottle, reusable shopping bag etc.) to volunteers on a first come, first serve basis
- Offered free refreshments and snacks at the Burlington Subaru dealership throughout the day to volunteers
- Provide drive by bag replenishment and free water and snack to those participating in Green-Up Day throughout the city of Burlington and South Burlington.
