2011 Subaru Tribeca Key Features

Versatility

Enough cargo room for a lifetime of memories. Right away you notice the three rows of seating that comfortably holds up to seven passengers. But with folding second and third rows it's designed for maximum flexibility. Whatever your people/cargo combo, it can fit.

Third row seating. Or not. Easily accessible from either side, split-folding third-row seating is standard on every Tribeca for whoever wants to come along for a ride. And when you need more space in back, it easily lays flat for extra cargo space.

Accident Avoidance

Control when you need it most. Road-gripping Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive continuously grips the road and puts the control in your hands. From the harshest weather to the roughest roads, you'll keep your traction. That's safety the Subaru way.

Keep your eyes on what matters. An available rear-vision camera gives a clear view of what's behind you, so you'll never be surprised when you're backing up. Some Tribeca models offer a rear-vision camera with a 3.5-inch display located in the rearview mirror. Upgrade to the optional navigation system and you'll have a 7-inch in-dash display.

Safety

Safety matters. Subaru ranks among the best in the automotive industry in term of crashworthiness. It's the only manufacturer to have all of its vehicles rated a 2011 "Top Safety Pick" by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). On top of that, the Subaru Tribeca received a 5-star rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

A fortress for your family. The ring-shaped reinforcement frame is designed to shield and protect in a collision. Made of high-tensile steel, it can maintain its structural integrity and keep the cabin intact, diverting that dangerous impact energy away from all your precious cargo.

Comfort

Seats, meet comfort. Set your seat to the perfect position with the 8-way adjustable power driver's seat, while the front-row-passenger chooses his or her own comfort with a 4-way power seat ? both featuring manual adjustable lumbar support. Busy families spend a lot of time in their vehicle, so we've added features to make everyone comfortable, like available ambient interior lighting, leather-trimmed upholstery and a power moonroof.

The beginning of a long, quiet trip. Keep the children entertained with an available rear-seat DVD entertainment system with 9-inch widescreen format. With two wireless headset, wireless remote and auxiliary inputs for a game console. Video camera or other multimedia device, there's plenty of fun for the trips ahead.

The Drive

All-Wheel Drive for your always-on-the-go life. The Subaru Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive (AWD) system continuously routes power to all four tires. The system provides a sure feel of the road for confidence and control in every weather and terrain.

Comfortable refined. The Subaru Tribeca features a four-wheel independent suspension with a double wishbone rear design for a sure-footed and comfortable ride. Variable power-assisted steering adds a satisfying feeling of tightness in turns, while the suspension soaks up the bumps.

Electronic and Audio

Sounds like fun. The Subaru Tribeca is available with a 385-watt Harman/kardon premium audio system with MP3 playback capability, XM Satellite Radio, 6-disc CD changer, and 10 speakers placed around the cabin. Bluetooth hands-free phone connectivity lets you keep your hands on the wheel and the conversation going.

The stress-free way to get from A to B. Use the touch-screen navigation system to enter your destination and it does the rest. The system's 7-inch multi-function screen also plays DVDs and shows a rear-vision camera.

Reliability

Building cars that last. Subaru vehicle are known for being able to withstand years of tough conditions. Subaru earned that reputation, in part, because of the way the build their engines. The inherently rigid SUBARU BOXER engine produces power with less vibration than other designs, which helps increase its reliability ? one reason why 96% of the vehicles we've built in the last 10 years are still on the road today.

Cityside. Countryside. Roadside. Covered. Each Subaru Tribeca comes with a 3-year/36,000-mile warranty that includes brake pads, wiper blades, clutch linings and transmitter batteries. Powertrain is covered for five years or 60,000 miles, and you get 24-hour Subaru Roadside Assistance. The result is a lower true cost of ownership, so you can own the road without paying for it.
